Golden Compass Company participated in the “GEOMIN 2025” conference and exhibition in Jeddah, organized by the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) in cooperation with the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). The conference theme was “Redefining Mineral Exploration: Opportunities and Potential.” The event featured specialized sessions on geoscience developments and mineral resource exploration, with participation from geologists, geophysicists, researchers, and experts from within and outside the Kingdom.

The conference discussed scientific frameworks, latest technologies in mineral exploration, and insights into the Arab Shield’s exploration potential. It also highlighted the role of modern data in enhancing geological understanding and supporting the future of exploration and mining in the Kingdom.

The CEO of SGS, Abdullah bin Muftah Al-Shamrani, emphasized the conference’s focus on integrating geophysics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to develop scientific understanding of the Arabian Peninsula’s structure and improve early exploration tools.

The event showcased best practices in transforming geophysical data into actual discoveries and provided a platform for networking with exploration and geophysics companies, geological organizations, and academic institutions.
