The Chairman of Rasi Investment Group moderated a panel discussion at the Mining Show in Dubai titled Mining 2.0: regional know-how to capitalise on mining and quarrying opportunities in the Middle East.

Among the panellists was Mr. Jonathan D. Cordero, Head of Corporate Development, Eurasian Resources Group, Luxembourg.

And Mr. Yousef Jawabreh, Mining Advisor, Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, UAE.

The dialogue dealt with several aspects regarding taking advantage of mining and quarrying opportunities in the Middle East, and that the mining sector is undergoing an unprecedented transformation, and what policy makers can learn from history or other countries to adapt competitive mining legislation in the Middle East, and key supply chain challenges and focus on supply chain issues through the global transformation of batteries.

The Golden Compass Company honors its employees

The top management of the Golden Compass Company, represented by the CEO Meshary ALALI AlDeheshi honored the employees Mustafa Al-lhaam, Mohamed Abdalazim, Abdallah Alyamani, Mohammed AbuHafar who have completed more than five years of servicing. The honor comes as an initiative to thank them for the effort during last years.

The company also honored and bid farewell to Engineer Ahmed Abdalla, PMP whose journey in the company ended. As the family of the golden compass, We wish all the best to him for what he has done in the company and wish great succes future.

RIG signs a memorandum of understanding with the South African company MINTEK Laboratories to establish global metallurgical analysis laboratories in Saudi Arabia with an estimated value of 25 million riyals

To complete the meetings of the #Saudi_South_African_Investment_Forum in Pretoria, the President of the Republic of South Africa, His Excellency Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, and a number of South African ministers and businessmen attended in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in the Saudi South African Investment Forum.

The meeting was opened by His Excellency the Minister of Investment, Mr. Khalid Al-Falih, and he welcomed the President of the Republic of South Africa, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, in the presence of their Excellencies and business leaders from both countries.

The #Saudi_South_African_Investment_Forum in Jeddah reviews the most prominent investment opportunities in various sectors, highlights the most important initiatives to support investors, in addition to discussing the various ways of partnership between the two countries.

In addition, a memorandum of understanding was also signed between Rasi Investment Group represented by Eng. Meshary Al-Ali (Chairman of the Board) and the South African MINTEK Laboratories Company represented by Dr. Molefi Motuku (CEO) to establish global metallurgical analysis laboratories in Saudi Arabia with an estimated value of 25 million riyals.

The Golden Compass Company signs an agreement with the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS)

The Golden Compss and MSA Group announced by the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) as the Technical partner- Exploration Management Consultant.

The announcement was made at the Saudi-South Africa Investment Forum in Jeddah, attended by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. The CEO of the Saudi Geological Survey Eng. Abdullah Mofter Al-Shamrani exchanged agreements with and congratulated Dr Ian Haddon, Managing Director of The MSA Group and The lead consortium Eng. Meshary ALALI AlDeheshi, CEO of Golden Compass.

The ceremony was held in the presence of the Ministerial delegation including Saudi Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid al-Falih, Minister of Tourism Ahmad al-Khateeb, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar al-Khorayef, and Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, HE Khalid Al Mudaifer. The South African delegation included Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition Ebrahim Patel, Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Gwede Mantashe and Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development Thoko Didiza.

The contract is part of The Accelerated Exploration initiative of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) which aims to strengthen investment in the mining sector, speed up the exploration process, attract international investment and build exploration capabilities within the SGS. The MSA-GC consortium will deploy over 30 geologists to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the three-year programme duration.

Within the framework of strengthening and developing Saudi investment relations with various countries, the chairman of the Rasi Investment Group, Eng. Meshary Al-Ali, participated in the Saudi-South African Investment Forum in the Republic of South Africa in Pretoria, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.

Also, the Saudi Ministry of Investment organized bilateral investment meetings for Saudi and South African business leaders to explore opportunities for new investment partnerships for investors from both countries.

The CEO on an official visit to the Caribbean

The CEO of Rasi Investment Group Eng. Meshary Alali, in the presence of a number of representatives of the Ministry of Investment, participated in the #Saudi_Caribbean_Investment_Forum that was launched in the Dominican Republic, which reviews and discusses investment cooperation opportunities in various sectors between the Kingdom and the Caribbean countries, in the presence of a large group of businessmen and representatives of the private and public sectors from both sides.

In the presence and honor of His Excellency the President of the State of Guyana, Dr. Muhammad Irfan Ali, discussions and activities of the Saudi Guyanese Investment Forum were launched, where the Ministry of Investment coordinated the participation of the Saudi delegation from the public and private sectors, with the aim of enhancing ways of economic cooperation and discussing joint investment opportunities.

Meshary Al-Ali, member of the National Committee for Mining and member of the Advisory Committee of the Mining Department at King Abdulaziz University, presented an introductory meeting through the Zoom program for graduates of the Saudi Technical Institute for Mining and employees of DRA Company, an introductory meeting about The Future of Mining Sector.

The meeting dealt with some of the most prominent aspects in the mining sector and the future of the mining sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the most important foreign and local investments in the mining sector, as well as the most important academic specialties and professional certificates related to the field of mining and career development.

The meeting concluded with a number of attendees’ questions and motivational and inspiring words from the CEO to the recent graduates from this important and vital sector, which is one of the pillars of the economy in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
