Project Overview
Golden Compass Mining Company is serving as the drilling contractor for the exploration program at the Bahila Prospect, part of the Al Amar Project in Saudi Arabia, operated by Greyridge Exploration Corp.
The program comprises more than 5,000 metres of reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling, designed to test and evaluate a number of prospective geological targets identified through integrated geophysical, geochemical and surface exploration programs.
Golden Compass Scope of Work
Golden Compass Mining Company is responsible for delivering the drilling works using a dual-purpose drilling rig, providing broad and efficient exploration coverage across the target areas.
The initial RC drilling phase includes holes to approximately 200 metres depth, with selected holes expected to be extended using diamond drilling to investigate deeper geological targets and evaluate the core of the identified chargeability and magnetic systems.
Target Areas
The drilling program is focused on four key target zones:
Porphyry Zone
Skarn Zone
Central Trend
Eastern Trend
The Porphyry Zone represents the primary exploration target, while the drilling program is designed to evaluate host rocks, alteration, sulphide mineralization and potential copper, molybdenum and associated mineralization indicators.
Through its involvement in the Bahila drilling program, Golden Compass Mining Company demonstrates its capability in delivering exploration and drilling services within challenging mining environments, with a strong commitment to safety, operational efficiency, quality and professional execution, supporting the continued development of Saudi Arabia’s mining and exploration sector.
Golden Compass Company is one of the investing companies of Rasi Investment, which focuses on the industry and mining sector .
